Route description

By private transport:

From The Hague, Utrecht, Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Hilversum on the A12:

• Take the exit 'Bunnik/Odijk/Wijk bij Duurstede'
• Follow 'Wijk bij Duurstede' (approx. 15 km)
• At the first roundabout you go straight on
• At the second roundabout you go straight on too
• After the traffic-lights you take the second road right and then take the first road right
• At the T-junction turn left to no. 202 
  

From Amersfoort on the A28:

• Take the exit 'Maarn/Doorn'
• Follow ‘Doorn’ (N227) and go straight on all the way past Doorn and Langbroek
• Drive 17 km until the roundabout
• Then you turn left following ‘Wijk bij Duurstede’
• At the second roundabout you go straight on
• After the traffic-lights you take the second street right and then take the first street right
• At the T-junction turn left to no. 202 
  

From ‘s-Hertogenbosch on the A2:

• Take the exit ‘Culemborg’
• Take the ferry at Beusichem
• Then follow 'Wijk bij Duurstede'
• At the second roundabout you turn right
• Take the second road left
• At the T-junction turn right to no. 202

By public transport:

From Utrecht Central Station take bus 41 or 241 (approx. 30 min.)
From Amersfoort station take bus 56 (approx. 1 hour)

In Wijk bij Duurstede you have to exit at the stop ‘De Engk/Frankenweg’. From the bus stop you turn right (Frankenweg) and then left. This is the Karolingersweg. On your left you will find no. 202.
