The readings, as well as the healings, are given in trance. In a reading messages are given, and the Masters, persons and animals (here on earth as well as in the spirit world) and other spiritual beings or energies may be asked questions. Max then goes into a trance, “becoming” a particular person or energy. It is they who subsequently address the visitor and answer the questions.
When you visit Max for a reading, he will listen to your problem and then only say “Your will be done”. He will then go into a trance and surrender to the Cosmos. The control of his body is taken over and the Cosmos decides which energies or (elevated) spirits from His entire creation will be needed to answer your questions. These energies and spirits make use of Max’s body in the use of gestures or speaking through him. Since they all wish to give you their loving care and assistance and since everything is in the hands of Love itself, this reading will always be pure and sincere and therefore of the highest quality.
At the start of the reading you will be welcomed by one of the divine Masters. This usually is Lord Jesus or Mother Mary. However, if you are a Buddhist you will be welcomed by the Buddha. Likewise a Hindu will be welcomed by Lord Krishna or another Master, a Muslim by Mohammed and a follower of Sai Baba by the Indian holy man.
All Masters will give personal messages and tell you what is most important for you to know at that particular moment. Depending on your question the contact that is established will help you to overcome the particular problem.

Loved ones
Should you visit Max with a question regarding the well being of a loved one, here or in the spirit world, there will be contact with this person. He or she may then make use of Max’s body and speak through him. Max will thus “become” that person. Gestures and (sometimes) violent emotions may accompany their words.

Health
If you have a question regarding your health, Max is permitted to connect with the pain, illness or organs concerned. For these too will pass their information on to you. You may also ask questions if you wish.

Reincarnation
Mental or physical illness, pain and/or fear can cause you to overreact or to be obsessed. These may have their origin in a previous life. If so, Max will connect with that event and experience it for you, or rather, you will re-experience the event through him. However, this will happen without the pain and emotions that originally came with it, since this would be unbearable. You will hear yourself speak through Max, in your own words what happened to you. Usually the circumstances of that event (who you were, the country and year in which it took place) will be mentioned.
Through the awareness of these circumstances, many persons were released from severe problems and traumas that were never worked through. Many physical ailments originating in the past and “brought along” in this life were allowed to disappear, thus making redundant the severe pain and violent
emotions of long lasting regression and reincarnation therapies.

Your soul
It often happens that Max is connected with your soul or essence. This is done to give you a better understanding of yourself. Or to bring to your attention that, which you deep down already knew, but did not want to pay attention to. Since suppressing problems is familiar to all of us, the information is always gladly received.

Animals
If you desire to be informed regarding the health, or the behaviour, of your pet or of another animal, the animal concerned - wherever it may be, in heaven or on earth - will be contacted at soul level and speak to you directly through Max. Animal interpreters establish a telepathic contact with the animal, whose information they ‘hear’ and translate into their own words.
Max, however, connects with the animal’s soul, 'becomes' the animal in a sense, and therefore the animal can speak to you directly and answer any questions you wish to put to it.
There is virtually no difference between communication with persons, and communicating with animals.

If you wish to have some information for instance, regarding the stately tree in your garden, or some particular plants or flowers that adorn your living room, Max could also channel their energies. They too will speak through Max.

This also applies to the world of minerals. If you want to know more about a particular gem or mineral, these energies too can give you an answer.

Private Issues
Many people seek answers and/or advice regarding their personal problems or those of others close to them. These can be problems regarding relationship, child rearing, addiction, domestic violence, divorce or death, to mention only a few.

- I am not really happy with my present job. Should I do something else?
- I really should like to do something else, but I do not know what exactly. Could you give me advice?

Max being privileged to be a medium for everything and every being, for all the energies existing in God’s entire creation, he is also allowed to connect with the energy of your jobsite or other possible jobsites. Here the job itself will respond to your question through Max. Moreover the Masters and/or your guides, if any, will speak to you about these matters.

- Is my house the right place for me?
- I get the feeling that I need to move. Is this correct?
- I have seen a nice house. May I buy or rent it?
- Will I be able to manage this financially?
- I have the feeling that there is someone present in my house. Is it true?
These are some of the questions that regularly arise when Max is asked about living circumstances. When contact is made, the house itself provides the information you asked for.

Business Issues
Also business related questions may be answered. For instance, if you have a business and want to merge, but do not know what choice to make in a number of possibilities, Max will be connected with the energy of each business. Each one will communicate through Max the extent of their interest. The choice is yours!
Also questions pertaining to internal issues, like management, personnel, etc. may be answered accordingly.
In principle any conceivable question may be asked.
